Belles (Belles #1) by Jen Calonita
It turns out that as the seasons change, I end up reading more of the general romance books in the warmer weather and in the cold seasons I read murder, crime and more grisly things. Belles is a novel (first in a series) about Isabelle Scott, a talented individual who lives in the bad part of town. She's then plucked from her life and placed with relatives who don't need anything really, they have it all.
But as the story unfolds, the reader is placed in the front of the stage watching as trivial teenage girls fight over nothing and then realise it's everything. It teaches younger readers to be aware of wrong and right. ya
